Retirees Association Scholarships
Silver Slug Scholarship
The Silver Slug Scholarship supports UC Santa Cruz career staff or dependents of career staff (working or retired), who are pursuing a degree at UC Santa Cruz.
Bruce Lane Memorial Scholarship
The Bruce Lane Memorial Scholarship supports military veteran students who are pursuing a degree at UC Santa Cruz.
Commitment to students
One of the objectives of the Retirees Association is to support UC Santa Cruz students through the Bruce Lane Memorial Scholarship for military veterans, and the Silver Slug Scholarship for university staff and their dependents.
Ways you can help support student success
- Spread the word and build awareness of opportunities that help students succeed!
- Volunteer for the Scholarship Committee
- Sign up to help at an event or information session
- Take a moment and talk to a student
- Pick up a handmade craft or succulent at a Retirees Association event— all proceeds support the Association’s scholarships!
