Several social and informational events provide you with opportunities to get together with old friends and colleagues. Even if you move away from the Santa Cruz area, you can still stay abreast of UCSCRA news through our newsletter that is produced and mailed to all members four times a year. Click here for a recent newsletter.

Our fellow retirees at UCSD have formed a partnership with Collette Vacations, which will allow all interested UC Retirees to travel. Next year's UC Retirees Association **Group** trips include spectacular Argenta and Chile, Hertitage of America, Alaska, Crotia and more. Click here for detailed information.

Participation in the Council of University of California Retirees Association (CUCRA) is an important component of your UC membership. CUCRA’s impressive group of officer advocates for retirees’ interests and concerns with the Office of the President. CUCRA meetings include representatives from all UC campuses and laboratory retiree groups. CUCRA officers take an active advocacy role on behalf of retirees and are especially vocal about health benefits and cost-of- living issues.
